Sometimes I wish I could draw…
The train full of people
heads bowed staring at their phones,
the man with the bags and the big umbrella saying,
“please hold tight to daddy’s coat”.
And in the sea of black clothes and blue faces,
the pinkest of coats holding tight at knee level,
waiting for her cue to move,
to let loose and unravel.

Train Stories is a four-part series, including three short stories and one poem. If you know me, you know I'm no poet. So I wrote this one as an exercise, not so much in poetry, but in rhythm and rhyme. I hope it was an good little read. :)
